The Tele-Ride Binding's specifications complement the Teleboard's standard mounting configuration for hassle-free installation you can do yourself. The 11" Tele-Ride Binding secures quicky to the Teleboard's rear binding threads. Minor drilling is required for the rear endcap and heel-pads. It works with a variety of boot sizes, accomodated by adjusting the position of the real heel pad. The Tele-Ride Binding track flexes minimally for optimal performance. The track "floats" 1/8" at the rear end cap, which means the binding slides under normal board flex. Riding the Teleboard in the correct position (knees forward, rear heel lifted) holds the Tele-Ride binding in place. Dropping your heel reduces pressure along the track and the binding slides back. The Tele-Ride Binding's streamlined shape gives it a natural look on the Teleboard. The rear telemark binding, secured to the Tele-Ride binding plate, rises approximately 1" from the deck of the board. This means superior edge control, taking full advantage of the Teleboard's parabolic shape. It's no wonder that most ski binding manufacturers have increased the height of binding base-plates; the performance advantage is quite noticeable!
